I am a disabled, Autistic and queer actor, model, writer, and disability advocate. I live with physical and psychosocial disabilities and am a full-time wheelchair user. Additionally, I also work sharing my background in mental health, my experience as a survivor of abuse, and my history of being a NDIS participant. I am also part of the LGBTQIA community as someone queer and gender diverse, and my pronouns are they/them.
I have done some acting on both stage and screen, and have also worked in scripting workshops. One of my greatest accomplishments is debuting as a stage actor in Qualia during Melbourne Fringe Festival 2019. Qualia went on to win the Melbourne Fringe Access and Inclusion Award.
I have been modelling since 2014 as both a plus-size and artistic model. I’ve worked with photographers such as Mad Dame and Alexis D Lea. My modelling work has been in exhibitions and international publications.
My writing has mainly been in the disability area, writing for a variety of disability organisations, media and blogs, speaking about my lived experience.
Speaking about my experiences as a person with disabilities, I have done public speaking, radio, TV, and facilitated workshops. I’ve been a disability consumer consultant for government departments, including being on the board for the development of a national disability framework. I’ve worked to educate organisations, healthcare and disability agencies, and was the co-lead for the development of CoHealth’s Disability Inclusion Plan.
