My passion to be on stage and screen comes, in part, from the desire for more authentic casting of people with disabilities.
Creating a space where authentic casting and representation of the disability community, especially with a quarter of Australians living with disability, is a great passion and goal of mine. I would have loved to have seen more people with disabilities in these areas when I was going through those first few years and I think seeing someone like myself up on the stage or screen would have really helped me see that Iām not alone, I am seen and heard, and I have a role and space in this world.
